Coach Reese joined Boswell High School as the Head Coach of Girls’ Basketball in the 2015-16 season. Coach Reese is a former Ram from Angelo State University where he played basketball on the two-time Conference Champions under Ed Messbarger. Reese graduated from Angelo State University with a degree in kinesiology and speech communications.
Previously, Coach Reese, was with the Bryan Independent School District for 19 years, 15 of which were at Bryan High School. Reese led the Vikings to a 30-3 record and spot in the area round of the state playoffs. In his decade at the helm of the boys’ basketball program, he led the Vikings to 246 wins, seven district championships and nine playoff appearances. Coach Reese then moved to Texas A&M University as the assistant coach to Billy Kennedy. Reese completed 3 years on the A&M basketball staff.
Coach Reese comes to Eagle Mountain - Saginaw from Plano East High School as an assistant coach for the girls’ basketball program leading them to the playoffs for the first time in several years.
Reese is a long-time member of the Texas High School Coaching Association, the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. Coach Reese has two sons, Jerron and J-Mychal.
Tracie Robbins is an Assistant Coach for Cross Country and Women's Basketball. She has been coaching for nine years. Coach Robbins is a Special Education instructor.
Coach Robbins is married to Corey Ottmers.
