Boswell traveled to Saginaw for the district opener Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Girl's doubles took the lead by winning the first and third girl's doubles however, the boys were challenged losing all three of the doubles. The girls won five of the six singles matches however, it was not an easy task. Each girl won their singles matches in super tie-breakers in the third set, showing true grit. Two of the boys singles matches went into super tie-breakers but came up short while number one Chadwell, went down to the wire losing a close match 6-4, 7-6. The Pioneers fell short of the win losing, 12-7. The hard work Saginaw is commendable, this is an opportunity for Boswell to grow as a team.
