Boswell Varsity Girls' Golf Team traveled to Flower Mound to play in the district tournament at Bridlewood April 6-7, 2017.
The Lady Pioneers started day one of the tournament great; the girls put themselves in a position to make a run at 2nd place going into day two. Senior, Emily Moore lead the tournament by 3 shots at the end of day one, shooting a 76. The wind picked up on day two making the course play a few strokes harder than the first day. The Team finished 4th overall. On the individual side, it came down to the last hole. Emily Moore had to par the last hole to win the district championship, and completed the task by rolling in an easy two putt par to win by two shots winning the district title. The win advances her to the Regional tournament in Lubbock April 24-25, 2017!
