A superb effort by J.J. Lundquist-Irvin, lifted Pioneers to a 6-0 victory in seven innings over Chisholm Trail on Friday, April 22nd at Chisholm Trail High School.
J.J. Lundquist-Irvin baffled Chisholm Trail, striking out 10 batters and giving up just two hits over seven shutout innings. Pioneers were able to move past Chisholm Trail thanks to eight hits, including three extra base hits. Hunter Harp racked up three RBI's on two hits for Pioneers. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fourth inning. The Pioneers scored two runs in the third inning, followed by two more in the fourth. In the third, the Pioneers scored on a two-run double by, Zach Hood bringing home Ulysses Cantu and Hunter Harp. The last push went to Pioneers thanks to a first inning rally that saw one run cross the plate on a sacrifice fly by Hunter Harp.
