Boswell Girls and Boys Golf teams claim the Pioneer Invitational Championship!

The Boswell Pioneers hosted the Pioneer Invitational at the Resort on Eagle Mountain Lake February 19-20th. 

Varsity Boys took 1st out of 11 teams in attendance!  There was warm weather on day one, however, windy conditions proved to be a challenge.  The boys played through it all and finished day one 20 shots ahead of the field.  Day two conditions were better, but the scoring was not.  However, the guys held on to finish in 1st 4 shots ahead of Nolan Catholic.

Varsity Girls 1st out of 7 teams that competed.  On day one, warm weather and windy conditions proved to be a challenge, but the girls played hard and after the day was over, they were in 2nd place 4 shots back of Bridgeport.  Day two conditions were better and the girls continued to play hard and ended up taking the lead back and took 1st place by 10 shots.


The Junior Varsity teams competed at Cross Timbers where they did very well!

The JV Boys 2nd out of 8 teams that attended.  The JV boys had a good tournament at Cross Timbers in Azle.  The team took 2nd and low rounds for the team were; Brian Mullins 94, Cameron Pool 89, and Gavin Hogan shot 82 and took 1st place medalist.

JV Girls 2nd out of 6 team at Cross Timbers.  The JV girls had a good tournament , the team took 2nd place overall.  Low rounds for the team were; Kirsten Webb 101, Gollanat Theppote 102.
